MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 19, 2008

Members Present: Paul Challenger @ 7:30, Al Berg, Peter Lacy, Jim Dunn, Maria Dell'Ovo @ 7:27, Rick Bates, Bob Ripley, Marilynn Foley
Members Absent: Glenn Gaudette
Also Present: Brian Bullock, Town Manager, Jacquie Kelly, Assist. Town Manager, George Sherrill, Police Chief, Jack Chandler, Fire Chief, Pete Bergstrom, Jack Cross, Alex Belisle Fire Department
The meeting was called to order at 7:00.
The Police Chief discussed his budget and answered questions from the Committee concerning his budget. He also passed out a folder of information to the Committee members.
Peter recused himself from the Fire Department Budget discussion at 7:50 and returned at 9:50. (Peter is a volunteer Fireman).
The Fire Chief discussed his budget and answered questions from the Committee concerning his budget.
The Committee had a lengthy discussion on the proposed in house Ambulance Service.
The Committee also discussed the oil spill problem at Jefferson School Superintendent's offices and how to fund the cleanup.
A motion by Rick 2nd by Maria to approve the minutes of March 12, 2008 as amended was voted unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 10:20.
